The Refresh With YES: CPT Nervous System Neurostimulators Learning Series is a four-part educational path that focuses on CPT coding of neurostimulator procedures. The series begins with a review of the anatomy and function of the nervous system, as well as the CPT codes for neurosurgery and neurostimulators. Learners will discuss and analyze the codes for intracranial, spinal, and peripheral procedures in parts 2-4, respectively. CPT coding guidelines, applicable advice from CPT Assistant, and HCPCS guidelines in Coding Clinic are reviewed.
