Founded by President and CEO Karen Youmans in 2007, YES HIM Consulting, Inc. sought to educate medical coders on the soon-to-be-implemented ICD-10 codes and guidelines. “We recognized a great opportunity to train people on ICD-10 before it was rolled out,” Walt Youmans, Executive Vice President and CIO, says. “And, Karen was already a highly sought-after, well-respected HIM educator in the field.”
