“What’s New in ICD-10-CM?” Webinar by Teri Jorwic in TruCode Educational Series

In this webinar, the presenter will go over the modifications made to the ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for FY 2024. Attendees will learn about the significant updates to the code set and official guidelines. Additionally, the presenter will discuss some of the changes to the MS-DRG from the 2024 IPPS Final Rule, which includes the reporting of three SDOH codes for Homelessness as CCs for MS-DRG assignment. The webinar will also highlight any documentation challenges and potential areas of coding error, and offer strategies for addressing these issues.
