FHIMA Virtual Convention 2020

Vanessa Youmans, Director, OP/ProFee Coding & Auditing Services at YES, was asked to present her team’s latest research and case study, titled “So You Think You Know ProFee Coding?” at the 2020 FHIMA Virtual Conference.

The FHIMA Board of Directors has made the decision to transition the in-person 2020 FHIMA Annual Convention to virtual format due to health risks presented by COVID-19. FHIMA’s priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our members, staff, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers. The Annual Convention is the highlight of our annual offerings, bringing together hundreds of health information management professionals and vendors from across the nation. Thus, the decision to move to a virtual format for 2020 was not taken lightly or without careful consideration and consultation.

To everyone planning to participate, we are looking forward to providing you the same great education opportunities from the safety of your own home or office. If you are already registered, we will contact you with specific instructions on how to request to have your registration switched to the virtual option, and the registration difference refunded. In addition, we will have options to cancel and refund your registration if you choose not to participate virtually.

We are excited to announce that we will have a “virtual exhibit hall” option available to our registered exhibitors. Exhibit, Sponsorship and Advertising fees can also be applied to the 2021 Annual Convention. Our exhibit manager will be in contact regarding the options available for securing your company’s exhibit, sponsorship and advertising location for the 2021 Annual Convention. We also have some exciting plans for including exhibitors and sponsors in this year’s virtual format.

Sign up to attend FHIMA Convention 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
